I think it depends on when you do your update.  There was a time when 
the index metadata was out of sync for the new debs, so there was 
probably some incorrect sizes and checksums.  Some people are getting 
file size errors, and others are not.  So if you can force your apt to 
refetch the package metadata and the packages then it should get past 
that problem and leave you with the Python 2.4 problem in the 
post-install script, which will also be fixed in a couple hours.
