I've updated the indexes and other apt meta-data, so sizes and checksums 
should match now.  If you do an update and then try installing again it 
should allow it.  However there is a problem in the post-install script 
due to a Python 2.5-only feature being used in some Editra code.  The 
install is mostly complete however so you should be able to use 2.8.9.0 
anyway.

I'm starting a 2.8.9.1 build now to correct the problem.
