[wxpython-users] Problems with SetBackground Color

Hi all, I'm using python 2.5 and wx 2.8, I have a program that in my MS
Windows Works fine, but when I get it on Ubuntu, verywhere where I've used
the SetBackgroundColor method doesn't work, For example I create a
StaticText ST, and the do ST.SetBackgroundColor("White"), On Windows it
appears te Static text with a White background, but on Ubuntu it gets the
standard grey color...
why is that?
