[wxpython-users] Child dialog has item in task bar if recursively validated

On Windows, if I open one of my dialogs, a second entry appears in the task bar (showing the Python icon), even though the dialog is not a top-level window. This happens only if I activate recursive validation in the dialog. Why is that? How can I avoid that? On Linux by the way, everything is fine.
