Summary: I'm close to finishing a wxPython 'Image Viewer' video series for new wxPython programmers. This series is part of our Subscriber-only package:
http://showmedo.com/videos/series?name=To3wW0reK
Detail: This series is aimed at new wxPython users who already have some basic knowledge of Python. Over an hour of videos teach you to:
* Build a skeleton wxPython application
* Subclass the App and Frame
* Work with Ids
* Customise a FileOpen Dialog
* Show Images
* Work with Menus and the StatusBar
* Add a Splash Screen and About Box (as exercises with solutions)
* Debug initialisation errors
The Overview video (3 minutes) shows the Image Viewer in action and the controls which we'll use:

Most of the videos are published and the final set will be published over the next 2 weeks. The series includes exercises with worked solutions for adding a 'mirror image' menu command, a professional Splash Screen and an About Box.
This is a friendly introductory series for those who want to be shown how and why things work with wxPython.
Subscriber Only: Note that this series is only for paying Subscribers. Some of our series are created specifically for new users which include exercises and full explanations - these fall into our 'Learn Python with Ease' Subscriber package:

We have a total of 177 Python videos here:

with 3 series dealing with wxPython:

Robin - thanks for permission to post this second announce.
Cheers,
Ian.
