continued development of wxRichTextCtrl?

Hi, does anyone know about the near/mid future of wxRichTextCtrl? The last
actions on it vis-=E0-vis wxPython were Robin's about a month back (thanks!=
):
"Updated wrappers for the RichTextCtrl classes that were already wrapped,
and added support for loading rich xml files and saving as HTML or XML." It
is certainly getting closer to the functionality one might want. I may be
off base, but it seems like it could really be a very useful control. I'm
just not sure where it is in it's development.

E.g., on this
<http://www.wxwidgets.org/manuals/stable/wx_wxrichtextctrloverview.html>pag=
e,
it says that there is more development planned, such as

   - RTF input and output
   - Conversion from HTML
   - Open Office input and output
   - Floating images, with content wrapping around them
   - A ruler control
   - Standard editing toolbars
   - Tables
   - Bitmap bullets
   - Borders
   - Text frames
   - Justified text, in print/preview at least

I'm just curious if anyone knows the status of the development, or where one
might go to find out about it. Is Julian Smart the person who is (at least
in part) working on it?

Thanks,
CM
