GetSubItemRect in ListCtrl?

Python 2.4, wxPython 2.8.4.0, MacOS10.4.10, Intel Mac.

listctrl.GetItemRect(row) returns a rectangle,
listctrl.GetSubItemRect(row, col) returns " ... object has no
attribute 'GetSubItemRect'".

Am I doing something wrong, or isn't this working in Mac yet?
