Sure, and that's what I was wondering about. The GNUmed
project as a provider of one Python application would be
insane to start fiddling with what's installed in a client's
site-packages/. That should be under admin control. For
which releases and packages help *a lot*. Mind you, not on
my machine or my fellow developers' machines - we are fine
getting stuff from subversion or web update or whatever but
rather for Joe Random Admin in a doctor's office somewhere
out there in Stanton, Nebraska.
