[wxPython-users] refreshing a sizer?

I take that back, the sizer isn't working when the
first image swaps out. So to restate the issue with
the correction:

I'm making a sort of slideshow application and have a
problem: when I swap out the wx.Image, the sizer
doesn't adjust, so if the new image is a different
size it won't be centered. 

If I resize the window the sizer does its job and
centers the new image.

Is there some way to tell the sizer to refresh? Or
some other way to do it?
 
I tried self.Refresh(), no help.
