If you are just looking for an editor with debugger, you could try SPE
(http://pythonide.stani.be), which also integrates with wxGlade and
XRCed for GUI design. If everything goes well (Nir is working on some
mac issues for the winpdb debugger), there will be a new release of
SPE next week.

PS If you are hungry for more, you could also try Ulipad, Boa,
DrPython ... and soon even Peppy.
