StyledTextControl Smart Indentation

Hello, I'm trying to use the STC for editing python code. I have
noticed that when I press "enter", the cursor always moves to the very
first column, instead of going to the beginning of the indentation
level. I've seen most editors have a "smart indentation" option that
will automatically indent to the "current" level on each new line. Is
there any way to do this with STC? Thanks so much for your time.
