Thanks for replying.

Spe version
0.8.4.b
Python version
2.4.4 (2.3 required)
wxPython version
2.8.3.0 (2.6.1.0. required

on Windows XP Home SP2

Isn't there an stc.dll somewhere? You didn't actually write the editor did
you? maybe that dll is screwed up. Basically it works correctly (i.e.
properly indents on a new line) after rebooting and running spe for the
first time. Then at some point that I haven't been able to figure out,
starts misbehaving and then stays that way until I reboot again.

Since I got you on the line, so to speak, another recent development that I
find very annoying is the way auto-complete works now, where it finds a best
match with many things you don't want to match. So, doc.node_ matches
doc.nodeName so when I hit enter I get doc.nodeName. Or doc.is_x matches
doc.is_atttribute. Apparently it has something to do with the underscore.

Also, I used to be able to change fonts/colors of different keywords or
syntax elements but not any more, or at least I can't find it.

I'd love to have my old spe back! This is the only ide that comes close to
what I want. It's simple and powerful.

BTW: I finally got around to donating something to the project. This is for
past value, not future value.
