FlashWindow long start-up time

Hi everyone,
    I have a FlashWindow from wx.lib.flashwin, and then every time I
Stop() and set flash variables and then Play(), and the Play() returns
immediately, yet the flash program takes about 15 seconds to start.

Any ideas appreciated,
