2.8.1.1 Documentation on Intel Mac

Guys,
On a MacBook Pro running 10.4.8 and a recent installation of wxPython  
2.8.1.1, the documentation viewer wxDocsViewer quits when doing two  
operations.
1. after OKing the About box.
2. more seriously, at the end of a search.

If anybody needs more info I am happy to provide.

Thanks for a great system (and book) which I am gradually coming to  
grips with.
