I would say so.  I never extensible used Crystal, so can't really 
compare features.  The developer seems be pretty active and if ever you 
have something urgent you can also pay him to implement a feature.

I think the one Dabo uses is to be considered too, at the time I looked 
at it did not have a report designer.
