	OK, I guess that's what's going on. It was noticed both on openSuse  
10.2/ Python 2.5/ wxPython 2.6, as well as Mac OS X 10.4.8, Python  
2.4/ wxPython 2.8.1.1. But on WinXP the control greys out as expected.

	Sure seems odd, but I guess I'll have to take this up with the Mac  
and Gtk folks.  ;-)
