Hi Robin,
Thanks for the new release!

I got reports about bad background color on OS X.
It seems like the background color of panels on Mac is white.
Here is a quote from the report:

Note that this problem appeared in the 2.7 series as well, but got fixed
later (I believe the first 2.8 release was good).
On the other side it seems like 2.8.4.2 is a bit optimized compared to
2.8.4.0 on OS X.
