i.e., [ python-Bugs-1541671 ] bsddb can't use unicode filenames.

Hahahahahahahaha... ironically sad, I would say :-D. The bug still
looks open, so there might be nothing I can do about it except
.encode() everything... BTW, what happens if you call:

return configDb.encode()

instead of simply returning configDb? It doesn't work either, I assume :-( :-(
