Are you thinking about a category for collecting 'homegrown' apps, that 
don't go through typical project reviews, don't have official 
maintainers, and don't currently end up in any repositories?

This could be a useful source of snippets and 'technique' code, but 
would have to be published as 'reader be advised', regarding 
completeness, style, bugs, risk, etc.
