Python executables in Linux

hi all,

i heard about converting the python code to an exe using py2exe.
Its really great!!and its working fine for me.
but now i need freeze foe executing my python in linux.
i went through the documentation but didn't understand anything.
I don't know whether this is the right group to which i should mail this
ques. if not,plz excuse me.
Does anyon eknow from where can i get freeze.py. Its not there in my PC.
and what are the steps for getting it done???

Robin, u said to send  a small runnable sample that shows the problem of
listbox. Sorry idn't get time...tooo busy
by the way i am not able to view the attached code u send? Why?
