[wxPython-users] Removing components from a gridbagsizer

Unfortunately I would like to be able to reuse the cell position in the
sizer to place other components there at a later stage. Hiding the component
merely makes it invisible. It is still occupying the cell position and thus
other components cannot be added to that position.
