There are two approaches you can take:

1. Upgrade to a newer version of Fedora (see 
http://www.brandonhutchinson.com/Upgrading_Red_Hat_Linux_with_yum.html) 
and then type "yum install wxPython"

2. Build wxPython yourself (see http://wxpython.org/builddoc.php)
