activating a miniframe

hi,

i want to use a miniframe, but i can't make it the active/focussed
window.   the demo for the miniframe illustrates problem (an inactive
miniframe):

   wxPython Overview / Frames and Dialogs / Mini Frame

(i'm on windows, 2.7.2.0)
