I actually sent a message about this to the wxPython-dev list on  
Saturday. You can find the message here:

The web site is still being developed, and the GUI manager needs to  
be created, but the system itself is in place, is IMHO fairly simple  
(check the docs at the URL above for info), and works for me. :-)  
What we really need now are people moving their components to this  
system so that it can get testing, and so that I am further  
encouraged to move wxaddons to the top of my "what should I work on  
when I have time" list... ;-)
