Hello NG,
Thank you very much Robin, Kevin and Jean-Michel for your
suggestions/explanations. I suppose it's time to learn something about
unicode things :-D
Anyway, I am gonna wait a little bit for Python 2.5, I see that some
dependencies I have (numpy, for example) do not have a 2.5-compatible
version yet.

Yes, I could propose a patch, but I think that Ben is already aware of
those patches, as I simply got them from the wxAUI forum (submitted by
the users) and I translated them in PyAUI development version. So, if
Ben didn't integrate those patches, maybe he is not totally
convinced/interested in them. But nevermind :-D
