The problem is that I am getting a lot of screen flicker in my ListCtrl. It is common to have 100+ items in the ListCtrl, with an increasing number of items increasing my flicker issues. I can not provide any copy paste code, however, the general algorithm that I follow is like so: - Multiple threads update their data - A timer goes off (every 1000ms) which invokes the method that I perform the ListCtrl updating in - In the update method I loop through each item (using, for i in range(self.GetItemCount()) ) - During each iteration of this loop I read the first two columns of the ListCtrl, use their values as a key into the dictionary that is populated by the threads mentioned above - Once I have the data, I populate the remaining 8 columns of this item with the data values from the dictionary. Using the method self.SetStringItem(i, col, value) for each column. I guess my question comes down to, if I have a lot of data replacement to do in my ListCtrl, is there a faster way to do it rather than using SetStringItem on each cell?
