I'm subscribed to REALbasic mailing lists. Recently, there has been a
thread there where a frustrated user of REALbasic talked about switching
to wxPython. He said that wxPython has a demo that looks great on Mac OS X.

A couple of other REALbasic users downloaded the wxPython docs and demos
for Mac OS X, but couldn't make them run, all because they didn't
understand that they had to install a separate wxPython library package
along with the demos. They got frustrated, and refused to further
investigate wxPython as an option for their programming needs. As a
result, there will be no new wxPython converts among them.

Here is the message by the REALbasic user who is considering switching
to wxPython for all future work.

On the same page there are links to the responses of those who had
problems with the wxPython demos.

As for me, I also always download both packages, so I'm all for merging
them.
