Editing in TreeListCtrl

Hi all,
Iam using a treelist control in wxpython for my
project, which has 3 columns, and it works fine with
me. 
Now, i need only the value of the third column to be
editable. But the thing is, when i use TR_EDIT_LABELS,
only the label of the root (ie. 1st col) is getting
edited, which is not my requirement.
Is there any loop hole., Any suggestions wud b of
great help..,
