[wxMac-trunk] Core graphics

If I set 

wxUSE_GRAPHICS_CONTEXT 0 // default setting
wxMAC_USE_CORE_GRAPHICS 0

then the trunk version cannot be compiled anymore.
Two questions:

1) Is it default behaviour that I need in the trunk version 
wxMAC_USE_CORE_GRAPHICS?
BTW: setting wxUSE_GRAPHICS_CONTEXT to 1 definitely requires 
wxMAC_USE_CORE_GRAPHICS.

2) Under the assumption that I need wxMAC_USE_CORE_GRAPHICS why does 
this flag still exist?
