problem in porting

Hi,

I am using wxGtk 2.8.6 on Redhat enterprise Linux 4 in Unicode shared
mode. I have checked the library dependencies of my application and
tried to port it to Redhat Linux 9.0 (very old compared to EL4). Then I
get an error like this

relocation error - cannot locate <some symbol> in libwx_gtk2ucore...So.0

What could be the reason? How can I solve this?
