Close window -> exit app on Linux

My multi-window app works fine on Windows - it runs until the
last window is closed, then exits.

On Linux, the app exits the first time I close a window.

I figured wxWidgets would keep a count of the windows in both
MSW and GTK build.

I'm using wxWidgets 2.8.7, Ubuntu 7.10, Gnome, debug build.

Anybody had the same problem and solved it?
