I downloaded a svc snapshot yesterday - unfortunately, the MSW IPC
IPC seems to be broken. I submitted a bugtracker item about it,
(my sourceforge name is pilsby) - the wxSingleInstanceApp will
have to wait until this is fixed. I'm afraid I cant' be of much help
with the networking stuff.

(No big hurry, I got a working solution for my own project with
wxWidgets 2.8.7).
