How to use wxGetApp() function

Hi,

Could someone give me an example (or a link to an example) on how to
use wxGetApp() function?
I've tried many many ways and read every docs containing wxGetApp().
The function is not recognized. I don't know the correct way to use
DECLARE_APP() macro.
