wxStandardsPath::GetResourcesDir()

Hi,
The wxStandardsPath::GetResourcesDir() returns the following path on OSX:
/usr/local/share/appname

According to the documentation, it should return the following on Mac
systems:
appname.app/Contents/Resources

It seems that OSX uses the Unix behavior for that function.  Is this normal?
