Can we add buttons on upper splitter window????

Hi i am using wxWidgets-2.8.3 for open phone . so the options present in file
menu , views like cut ,copy paste , options etc . so i want these all as
button on upper splitter window. so please let me know wheather it is
possible to add buttons on upper splitter window. i shall be thankful to
