 Yes, it worked, albeit with bugs, in wchar_t-based Unicode builds. It
didn't in UTF-8-based ones (i.e. anything Unix).

find them there.

 If you're interested in maintaining this code, I'd strongly encourage you
to create a component for it on wxCode.
