[wxMSW-2.8.6, VC++'05XprsEd in VS'05 Vers.8.0] missing windows.h

Hi!  I'm trying to build wxMSW-2.8.6 in Parallels 3.0 emulating XP Pro 
'02 SP2 in Mac OS 10.4.10.  I'm trying to use VC++ 2005 Express Edition 
in Visual Studio 2005 Version 8.0.50727.42 w/ .NET Framework version 
2.0.50727.  I downloaded the wxMSW installer and that appeared to work 
w/out error.  I then tried to use the VC++ 6 Workspace in build\msw and 
all the projects appeared to get updated successfully.  I then tried 
build solution: only four projects built successfully, 16 failed - the 
first and recurring error (there were others) was a failure to find 
"windows.h".  I used Windows' search on my C drive - sure enough, no 
windows.h to be found.  What is this file, where am I supposed to have 
obtained it from, and why would I not have it when wxWidgets is 
expecting me to?
