Things seem to work correctly if I use the DEB package found at
http://apt.tt-solutions.com/debian/ instead of compiling my own.
Granted the package is of wxGTK-2.8.4.
The ideas you suggested on your last two posts are good ones. I have
a milestone deadline due this Friday. Since I found something that
works, I'm going to stick with the DEB package for now. After the
deadline I'll try out your suggestions and try to think of a way to
create a small sample.
Thanks for you help,
-Jason
