I tried to download the changelog via the link
http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/wxwindows/changes-2.8.6.txt
that is presented on http://www.wxwidgets.org/downloads. Probably I was not
patient enough, but "my download didn't begin shortly", no matter how often
I tried. The direct link
http://switch.dl.sourceforge.net/sourceforge/wxwindows/changes-2.8.6.txt,
however, worked.

No popup-blockers were active with my Opera 9.23.
