End session events in wxGTK 2.8.3

Hello, should it be possible to get end-session events in wxGTK? (i.e.
so the app can ask the user to save unsaved changes).

These commands find nothing:
    ~/wxWidgets/wxGTK-2.8.3/src/gtk$ grep -irn endsession *
    ~/wxWidgets/wxGTK-2.8.3/src/gtk$ grep -irn end_session *
