auto resize of wxRichTextCtrl

I'm having a little problem which I hope someone might be able to help 
me with. If I place a wxRichTextCtrl onto my main frame it resizes when 
I resize my main frame. However, if I place the same control on a 
notebook page it doesn't seem to resize to the size of the notebook 
page? How can I explicitly tell it to resize to whatever size the 
notebook page is? Cheers,
