Getting error while trying to configute wxWidget with directfb

Hi,
   I have directfb installed on my machine. When i have given ./configure -=
-with-directfb, i am getting following error 'checking for DIRECTFB... conf=
igure: error: DirectFB not found.'. =

       Can anybody please help me to get it working?
