ANN: DialogBlocks 4.09

1st June, 2007: Anthemion Software is pleased to announce a new version
of DialogBlocks for Windows, Mac OS X, Linux, FreeBSD, and Solaris x86.

DialogBlocks is a powerful GUI editor for C++ wxWidgets applications,
also generating XRC for use with other languages. It has IDE
functionality to let you create, build and run projects from within
the same tool.

In addition to the usual editing facilities, DialogBlocks gives you
control over many important details such event handling, data validation,
platform-sensitive UIs, and code generation for 'foreign' controls.
Complex hierarchies can be created, and wizards, notebooks and property
sheet dialogs can all be edited in-situ.

Since version 3, DialogBlocks has undergone extensive changes, including:

- support for most of the new controls in wxWidgets 2.8, such as
  wxCollapsiblePane, wxFontPicker, wxColourPicker, wxFilePicker,
  wxTreebook, wxRichTextCtrl, wxSimpleHtmlListBox, and others;

- support for the wxAUI window management system, including wxAuiNotebook;

- ability to derive new classes from any controls, not just dialogs,
  frames and panels;

- an element catalogue for browsing through groups of control and sizer
  classes;

- a new wxAUI-based look, and a new multi-page property editor;

- easier XRC-only editing;

- a Setup Wizard that makes it easier to configure DialogBlocks;

- a Developer Bundle distribution for Windows that includes wxWidgets
  and a MinGW compiler installer.
