[wx 2.8.4, Mac OSX, gcc] wxTaskBarIcon sample problem?

Can you tell me what the fix is, so I can apply it to the 2.4.8  
codebase I have and see if the taskbar sample builds and runs well on  
Mac OSX?  The wxWidgets framework is looking like it will do what we  
need, but I need to make sure wxTaskBarIcon works well on Windows and  
OSX.
