Set the frame to foreground

Hi,

I am using wxwidgets to create application on a windows CE device. 
My application starts up with a splash screen and then the very first
frame is displayed.
In one of the devices the next frame comes immediately after, but in
another device it hides in the background. 

I tried using the 
SetTopWindow(frame)
after the splash screen in the MyApp, but it didn't work.

What are the other alternatives?

Any help will be appreciated.
