[Mac, 2.8.1] wxComboBoxValidator

Hi,

Is there any real need for wxComboBoxValidator?
The code seems to be doing exactly the same as the text validator.

My reason for asking is this: I've derived from the text validator a
class to do some additional validating (mostly make sure a value is in a
numeric range). I would like to use this validator for certain combo
boxes. Is that possible, or do I need to derive a similar class from the
combo box validator?
