[Mac, 2.8.1] focus problem

Hi,

I have a floating window with a text control. When it is focused and I
click on another window the control doesn't get a focus loss event. 

I'm assuming this makes sense, as we'd like to keep the control which is
focused in the window, but unfocus the whole floating window.

However, the window and top level window also don't get a focus lost
event.
Also, it don't get any deactivate event, as it is a floating window.

So unless I'm missing something I have NO way to know from the control
or floating window point of view that they've lost focus. Am I right?


I also noticed that carbon events kEventWindowFocusXXX are not handled
at all by WX. I think this might be the cause for the problem I'm
having.

Any thoughts?
