Tonights wxMSW 2.8.1 'preview' with MSVC6 SP6:
Everything seems to open and compile clean here.

A few observations:

- docking framework still not docking panels if swapping mouse 
buttons/using left hand mouse

- samples/menu, file menu: Separator has gone invisible, while menu 
items with/without bitmaps looks as misaligned as ever
