ActiveX objects help request

Who here is the *master keeper* of

wxAutomationObject and wxActiveXContainer?

Are there some ready-to-compile examples that
compile, work and clearly test the properties
management methods on ActiveX objects?

The methods for communicating with an ActiveX object
in the documentation do not seem to be working for
the Flash8 OCX/ActiveX thingy. A bit of help on
this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
