User Interface

Hey everyone,

I am working on a project that is currently running under the .Net Framework
2.0 but I am considering steering the project away from the framework and
going with something a little more cross platform compatible. Microsoft’s
latest and greatest being a little bit of a stimulation here…I don’t have
weeks of time to spend on researching different UI systems though.

I came across wxWidgets and it looks like it fits my needs but I am running
into a couple problems.

Here is a screenshot of the UI right now:

I need to do something similar via wxWidgets.

Problems I am running into at the moment:

1.	I can setup the toolbar the same easily enough with the combo box
controls, but I can’t seem to find a way to create the second toolbar
beneath it. If I call CreateToolBar a second time I get an exception.
2.	One of the combo boxes should be a drop down list only. No text
input by the user. Is there a way for me to specify this?
3.	I have absolutely no idea how to get wxWidgets to do the panes like
they are shown on the right and bottom. How can I create panes like that and
dock them in those locations?

Other than those 3 things, so far I am happy with this stuff. It’s working
quite nicely. :-)

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,

Stephan
